I highly recommend the NISET surveying college classes and test prep if you want to pass the FS or PS exam on the first attempt. Even with my seven years of surveying experience, I did not know what to expect on the FS or PS exam and this resulted in a frustrating failed attempt at passing the first time. When I enrolled in surveying college classes, this helped me gain an in depth understanding of key principles underlying what I was doing in the field each day. The test prep courses then gave me the opportunity to apply what I had learned through practice problems and exercises. The classes, test prep and review time with Dr. Nettleman were the key to helping me pass the FS exam on the first try after completing the courses and practice tests.

A HUGE shout out to Dr. Nettleman and his staff!! I had taken this exam twice before, to no avail. With Dr. Nettleman’s course work, and the programmed hp35 calculator; I was able to pass this test with relative ease. I am definitely a better surveyor due to the information that is provided in these lectures. I have no doubt now, (after taking the courses).
